The Estate: Domaine des Colombettes is a winery located in the Languedoc region. Lirac is on the border with Rhône and lots of producers spread to both regions. The winery has a rich history and has been producing wines for several generations. The estate has evolved over the years, combining traditional winemaking techniques with modern innovations to enhance the quality of their wines. They produce red, white and rosé from traditional Languedoc and Rhône grapes. The winemaking process involves a combination of modern technology and traditional methods. This ensures that the wines retain their authentic regional character while achieving high standards of quality.


This cute wine comes from carefully selected plot. Traditional winemaking with a 3 weeks maceration. Clay and limestone soil with pebbles. The winery emphasizes sustainable viticulture practices. They focus on maintaining the health of their vineyards through environmentally friendly practices, which may include organic or biodynamic farming methods.


Suggested food and wine pairing: Goes beautifully with meat in sauce, venison, grilled beef, roast or grilled lamb, simmered meat, venison with berry sauce, beef stew, Coq au Vin, ratatouille, Provencal Dishes (dishes with tomatoes, olives, garlic, and herbs), smoked meats, barbecued ribs, cheese (hard aged cheeses like aged Gouda, Comté or Manchego; blue cheese).
